NLC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NLC Apprentice recruitment 2026, applicants must have the specified educational qualifications. Any details entered into the application form should be accurate to avoid rejection, due to incorrect information provided.
Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice
- Full time Degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant discipline from:
- A Statutory University, or
- An Institution authorized by an Act of Parliament, or
- A recognized Professional Body approved by the State/Central Government.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology of a recognized Indian University with a minimum of 60% in the qualifying degree.
Only the residents of the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, or the Union Territory of Puducherry can apply for this post. Qualifying degrees or diplomas should have been awarded in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025.
Age Limit: As per Apprenticeship Rules.

The NLC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is now available at the NLC India Limited’s website, nlcindia.in. Registration for the event will be closing on 2nd January 2026 at 5 pm. By the deadline of 9th January 2026, applicants who have completed their applications online must also submit their hard copies to the specified office by 5 pm.

NLC Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The selection for Graduate and Technician posts will be made on the basis of the academic merit obtained in the degree/diploma awarded by a recognised University.
Calculation of Percentage of Marks:
- If the university/institute follows a specific method, that method will be used.
- If Grades / CGPA are given instead of marks:
- The university’s own conversion method will be followed.
- If no conversion method is given by the university:
- CGPA/Grade × 10 = Percentage
